Brinkman & Associates Reforestation Central America provides Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified management for native species and high-value tropical hardwood plantations in Central America, as well as the marketing of plantation grown wood products. BARCA currently has operations in Costa Rica, Panama and Honduras, and is developing projects in other Latin American countries.

Experience
BARCA is part of the Brinkman Group of Companies, which began with treeplanting in Canada in 1970 and has steadily grown to provide a full portfolio of silviculture and sustainable forestry services. In 2010, the Brinkman Group will plant its 1 billionth tree, and it currently manages 1 million hectares of natural and planted forestland in five countries. In 1994, BARCA was formed to focus on tropical silviculture and BARCA’s plantations are recognized as some of the best in the world.
